Ken Chymiak - Kenneth A. Chymiak is President and Chief Executive Officer as well as a Director of ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. In 1985, Ken co-founded Tulsat with David E. Chymiak, who currently serves as ADDvantage’s Chairman. Ken was Vice-President and Secretary of Tulsat from 1985 until 1999. In September of 1999, ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. was created in a reverse merger between Tulsat and ADDvantage Media Group, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company, with Tulsat becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADDvantage. In 2002, ADDvantage began trading on the American Stock Exchange and then moved to NASDAQ in September of 2007.

Previously, Ken was a licensed broker with the NASD and held his Missouri real estate and insurance licenses. In addition, he owned and operated several successful automobile dealerships and was an active real estate investor.

Ken has attended executive courses at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School and took part in the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Dave Chymiak - David E. Chymiak is the Chairman of the Board of ADDvantage. Dave was a co-founder of Tulsat with his brother Ken Chymiak in 1985, which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADDvantage. Dave has over 20 years of experience in the cable television industry, working daily directing the purchasing, sales and service departments of ADDvantage.

Scott Francis – Scott A. Francis joined ADDvantage in September 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer and became a Director pf ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. in March 2011. Scott has over 15 years of finance and management experience. Prior to joining ADDvantage, he served as a controller of accounting since 2004 at Vanguard Car Rental USA, Inc. (National and Alamo car rental). Prior to that, he served as the manager of financial reporting for WilTel Communications, Inc., a publicly-traded company, from 1997-2004.

Scott worked at Ernst & Young for over four years, performing audits for both private and publicly-traded companies, after graduating from Oklahoma State University in 1989 with a B.S. in accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1989. Scott is a certified public accountant.

Directors

Thomas J. Franz - Thomas has served as a director since 2007 and is the chairman of the corporate governance and nominating committee. Thomas is currently head of TJ Franz & Associates, a firm specializing in profitability and contract CFO consulting for small and medium-sized businesses, which he founded in 2003. For the 10 years prior, he served as Chief Financial Officer for several businesses and served in a Chief Operating Officer role as well. From 1983 to 1993, Thomas held several public accounting roles for clients in the banking, government, venture capital, not-for-profit and financial services industries. Thomas is a certified public accountant with a masters degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University.

Paul F. Largess - Paul has served as a director since 2007 and is the chairman of the audit committee. Paul retired as controller from CITGO Petroleum Corporation in 2006 after 21 years of service. His career at CITGO included a number of positions in accounting, finance and audit. Prior to joining CITGO, he worked for seven years as an auditor with Texaco and two years in public accounting. He graduated with a B.S. in accounting from The University of Tulsa and is a certified public accountant.
 

James C. McGill - James has served as a director since 2007. James currently serves as the vice chairman of the board of MacroSolve, Inc., which does business as Anyware Mobile Solutions, a provider of remote end-user data services. In addition, he is a board member of numerous organizations in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. During his career, McGill has received 25 U.S. and foreign patents in the field of pollution control and has extensive experience in helping to develop early-state and emerging companies. James is a registered professional engineer with a B.S. in chemical engineering from The University of Tulsa, where he graduated cum laude. He is a member of the University’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Hall of Fame.
 

Steve Tyde - Stephen has served as a director since 1999 and is the chairman of the compensation committee. He is the founder of The Pump & Motor Works, Inc., a re-manufacturer of industrial pumps, motors, transformers and switchgear (to 20,000 hp). After 20 years in the turbo machinery business, Stephen stated The Pump & Motor Works in 1989 and developed it to a multi-million dollar operation before his divestiture in 2001. During that time, he oversaw all aspects of the company and retained personal responsibility for financial planning, reporting and controls. He continues to serve on a part-time basis as vice president. Since 2001, Stephen has served as the sole owner and Chief Operating Officer of P&MW Holding, Inc., an industrial real estate company. He received a B.S. in business administration from Ohio State University, a masters degree in business administration from George Washington University and has studied engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
